Terms & Conditions
Purple Print Management Ltd · Effective 17 October 2026
About us and these terms
We are Purple Print Management Ltd, trading as Purple Print, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 10972795. Our registered office and correspondence address is Purple Print Management (Log Cabins For Sale Uk), Turgis Green, Hook, England, RG27 0AG. Contact us at info@purpleprintltd.com or on 01635 745021. Our VAT registration number is 277641766.
These terms cover orders placed through www.purpleprintltd.com, by email or following a quotation, for printed products, embroidered and personalised clothing, signs, banners, displays and related artwork services. Any specific requirements or changes we agree in writing form part of your order. These terms apply to new orders accepted after their publication, not retrospectively to existing contracts.
A consumer is an individual buying wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Other customers are business customers. Clauses expressly limited to business customers do not apply to consumers. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory consumer rights.
Ordering and acceptance
Check the product, quantity, dimensions, sizes, colours, delivery address and personalisation before ordering. Contact us promptly if something needs correcting. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; our acceptance occurs when we confirm acceptance by email or start agreed production, whichever happens first. We provide your order details and the applicable terms in a form you can keep. Orders are concluded in English.
Quotations remain open for the period stated on them. If no period is stated, ask us to confirm the price before placing your order. If there is a pricing error, unavailable stock or an issue with your specification, we will explain it and seek agreement before proceeding. We will not increase an accepted price without your agreement. If we cannot accept the order, we will refund payments for the unfulfilled order.
Prices and payment
VAT is charged where applicable at the rate in force. Where a price is shown excluding VAT, this will be stated; the VAT-inclusive total and any delivery or other agreed charges will be provided before you commit to pay. Optional extras require your agreement. Delivery is included only where the product listing or quotation says so, and any geographical exclusions will be made clear before ordering.
Payment is due in full before production unless we agree credit terms in writing. For approved credit accounts, payment is due by the invoice date agreed with you. We may pause further work if an agreed payment is overdue, after notifying you. A pause does not remove your rights in relation to work already paid for. Please raise any disputed invoice promptly so we can investigate.
Artwork and approval
Provide artwork that meets the requirements for the product you have chosen. Bleed, resolution, safe areas and templates vary by product. We will seek your approval of an artwork proof before production. Check spelling, numbers, layout, dimensions, placement, colours and all other details carefully, and give clear written approval. Production times run from receipt of payment, print-ready artwork and approval, unless we agree otherwise.
A screen proof shows the intended layout but is not a physical colour or material sample. Screen colours, fabric colours and print or embroidery finishes may vary from their appearance on a device. If an exact colour, placement or finish is essential, tell us before ordering so we can agree an appropriate specification or sample. Normal variations do not excuse goods that fail to match the agreed description or standard.
We are not responsible for a mistake in artwork you supplied and approved where we reproduce the approved artwork correctly. We remain responsible for our own errors, failing to follow an agreed instruction and any services we are required to perform with reasonable care and skill. Changes after approval may affect the price or delivery estimate; we will agree any additional charge before proceeding.
Clothing and product specifications
Use the manufacturer sizing information for each garment rather than assuming that sizes are identical across brands or styles. Check all garment sizes, colours and quantities before approval. Once clothing is personalised, we cannot normally exchange it solely because an approved size or colour choice is unsuitable. This does not affect rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Product images and mockups show the intended product or design. Your order is governed by the product description, selected options and agreed proof. We will not substitute a materially different garment, material or product without your agreement. Please follow the care, assembly and use instructions supplied. Tell us about any intended safety-critical or specialist use before ordering; ordinary decorated workwear is not a promise of protective performance.
Delivery and delays
Delivery dates and turnaround periods are estimates unless a deadline is specifically agreed as binding. An essential deadline you make clear before contracting may also give consumers legal cancellation rights. Tell us about an event date before ordering so we can assess whether the order can arrive in time. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.
We will notify you of a significant delay and explain the revised estimate and available options. Consumers retain their legal delivery rights, including the right to end a contract where an essential agreed deadline is missed, or where delivery is not made within an appropriate additional period when the law requires one. Unless another delivery period is agreed, consumer goods will be delivered within 30 days of the contract.
Give us an accurate delivery address and any necessary access information. If redelivery is required because of incorrect information or an avoidable failed delivery, we will explain any reasonable additional charge before arranging it. We may use production partners and couriers, but remain responsible for fulfilling our contract with you. For consumers, goods remain at our risk until received by you or your nominated recipient, except where you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer.
Personalised orders and cancellation
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including goods printed or embroidered with your artwork, do not normally carry the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. This exemption does not remove your rights if goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not meet the contract. Selecting a standard size or colour alone does not necessarily make an item bespoke.
If you need to cancel or change a personalised or business order, contact us immediately. Where we agree to stop the work, any cancellation charge will be limited to reasonable work already carried out and unavoidable committed costs actually incurred, allowing for costs saved and reasonable steps to reduce the loss. We will explain the calculation and refund any balance. No charge applies for our breach or where a consumer is exercising a statutory right that prohibits it.
Consumers buying standard goods or services
If you buy eligible non-personalised goods at a distance as a consumer, you can cancel without giving a reason from placing the order until 14 days after the day you, or your nominated recipient, receive the goods. For one order delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last goods. Tell us by a clear statement using the contact details above; you may use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but it is not compulsory.
Return eligible goods within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. Contact us for the correct return address, but you do not need our permission to exercise a statutory cancellation right. You pay the direct return cost for a change-of-mind cancellation where we have told you this before ordering. For goods that cannot normally be posted, we will provide the return cost or an estimate before you order.
We refund the eligible goods and the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge offered, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. We may withhold reimbursement until that point. Any permitted deduction for diminished value is limited to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We do not charge a restocking fee for a statutory cancellation. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise and incur no refund fee.
For a separate artwork or design service ordered at a distance by a consumer, the cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the contract is made. We will obtain your express request before beginning during that period. If you then cancel, a proportionate charge is payable only where the law permits it and the required information and request have been given. The right to cancel a fully performed service is lost only with the required prior express consent and acknowledgement. We will obtain any separate consent required for downloadable digital content.
Faults returns and complaints
Contact info@purpleprintltd.com with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs where practical. Please report visible damage, shortages or errors promptly, preferably within seven days, so we can investigate quickly. This is a request, not a deadline that removes legal rights. Keep the goods and packaging where practical until we have agreed the next step; do not dispose of goods solely to support a claim.
For consumers, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose made known and agreed, and as described. You normally have a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods within 30 days of delivery. Other rights may include repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or final rejection. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. We will provide the remedy you are legally entitled to; we will not insist on a reprint where you have a legal right to a refund.
We pay reasonable necessary return costs for confirmed faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods and will agree an appropriate return or collection arrangement. For business customers, we will investigate any failure to meet the agreed specification and arrange an appropriate reprint, replacement, refund or other remedy under the contract and applicable law. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the problem.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and provide an update within ten working days. If a consumer complaint remains unresolved after our internal process, we will provide details of an appropriate certified alternative dispute resolution provider and state whether we are willing or required to use that service.
Artwork rights and confidentiality
You must have permission to use the text, images, logos and other material you ask us to reproduce. You give us and our production partners permission to use that material only as needed to fulfil your order. We may decline unlawful or infringing content. You retain ownership of material you supply.
Rights to artwork we create, editable source files and third-party assets depend on the written design agreement. We will explain the usage rights included before accepting a separate design commission. We will not use your logo or completed order in our marketing without permission. Personal information is handled in accordance with our applicable privacy notice and data protection law.
Responsibility and events beyond our control
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
For consumers, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. For business customers, responsibility for loss is determined by the contract and applicable law. There is no automatic blanket exclusion of our responsibility for defective goods, our own errors or our production partners.
If an event beyond our reasonable control affects an order, we will contact you promptly, take reasonable steps to reduce its effect and explain the options. This does not remove any legal right to cancel for non-delivery or obtain a refund for goods or services not provided.
Law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts of the UK country in which they live. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
An invalid provision does not affect the remaining terms. We may update terms for future orders, but the version accepted for your order continues to apply unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. Keep a copy of these terms and your order confirmation.
Optional cancellation form
Complete and send this form only if you wish to cancel an eligible consumer distance contract. You can instead make any other clear cancellation statement.
